Ryan Aaron Chapman, Esq. graduated from Barry University School of Law with his Juris Doctorate and was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida as of September 23, 2010. He attended University of Central Florida from 2003-2007 as a Lead Scholar graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with a Minor in Criminal Justice and a Certificate in Security Management.
Mr. Chapman is on the Board of Directors for the Manatee Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division and a member of the Sarasota Bar Association. His areas of practice are mostly in the public interest field dealing with non-profit legal issues, Family Law, Veteran’s legal issues and assisting victims of Domestic Violence.
Mr. Chapman joined Legal Aid in the summer of 2009 as a recipient of the Florida Bar Foundation Fellowship while attending law school and became a Staff Attorney with Legal Aid in 2010.
Other community activities include serving as a volunteer Judge at Teen Court, guest speaker at Jewish Family and Children’s Service Parenting and Fathering classes and he serves on the Advisory Committee for Josh Provides: Epilepsy Assistance Foundation, Inc.
