Attorney Monica Villaverde was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009 and the Georgia Bar in 2010. She graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2009 with an Honors certificate and a certificate in Research, Writing, and Drafting. She attended Stetson University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Psychology. Ms. Villaverde joined Legal Aid in 2009 where she is a Staff Attorney and Pro Bono Coordinator in the Sarasota office. She practices primarily in the area of Family Law focusing on Divorces, Paternity and Adoption. Ms. Villaverde is a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association, Manatee County Bar Association, Sarasota County Bar, Family Law Steering Committee, American Bar Association, and the Young Professionals Group.
